Who We Are

About Us

LP Youth's high school age students meet on Sunday afternoons for their weekly gathering. We meet right after church from 12:00-1:30pm. We have lunch together, play some games, hang out, and then have some small group discussion. We want this space to be more discussion based.

Rather than have another whole worship service on Sunday morning, it's much more focused on discussing Jesus, faith, life, and many other topics. It's a welcoming place that students can feel free to invite their friends and have a good time, but also they can expect meaningful discussion that will help them grow and develop their faith.

What to Expect

For our typical high school youth group, we meet in the Hangar after church from 12:00-1:30pm, we have lunch together, we hang out and play games together, we watch a short video message or hear a devotion from a speaker, and we have small groups.

Once a month, on the first Sunday of the month, the high school youth group has Sunday-Out. On this Sunday, we go out and do something fun together. We’ve done Nerf Wars, paintballing, ice skating, and more. These Sundays go from 12:00-3:00pm.

Once a month, on the last Sunday of the month, the high school group goes out and does a service project in the community. We’ve served at animal shelters, food pantries, helped people move, and more. These Sundays go from 12:00-3:00pm.
